Roberto Coin established his namesake brand in 1996 after a career in hospitality. Based in Vicenza, a historic center of Italian jewelry making, the house describes art, fashion and the expertise of Italian artisans as important sources of its creative identity.

A small ruby concealed inside a jewel became its signature in 1996. The house presents this detail as a symbolic wish of good fortune for the wearer. Its broader design approach embraces experimentation, romantic forms and color.
